"Why We're Here" started out as a project where employees wrote or drew on large banners reasons why they work at Grantham University. I was tasked with finding a way to display what people wrote in a visually compelling way. I went through what each person wrote and picked out different themes, grouping quotes by word. I used the 3 major themes as the emphasis of the display and included the definition of each theme as a reminder of what they mean. Each theme has a panel or two that contains employee quotes related to that theme.

The color palette is bright and cheerful. The themes have a bold and powerful font and color scheme. The panels stick out from the wall and hardware is minimal so they hold greater importance visually. Not every wall was the same color, so there is an alternate color scheme for the center. The center portion serves as the description, which is why it is not a panel.
